A tried and tested method

so how does it work, and how much does it cost?

Take a look at this video where we explain all.

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS

Our process is a tried and tested method designed to make it as straightforward as possible to get to know each other and work together.

We’re able to meet in person or virtually over Zoom, which means:

  • We can meet no matter where you are located as long as you are resident in the UK

  • We can have a productive and interactive session.

This is an overview of how we typically work. From start to finish, it takes around 6-7 weeks:

  • In this 15-minute call we will discuss your current situation, provide an overview of the services we offer, and find out if we can help you. This is a great chance for you to ask any questions and for us both to assess if we’re a good fit for each other.

There’s no charge for this meeting, it’s at our expense.

  • In our first meeting, we’lll discuss your goals and objectives, not just in financial terms, but also in terms of what you want to do and achieve in life. We always build as full a picture as we can of who you are as a person, not just what you want regarding financial advice. We’ll also discuss your attitude towards risk and start to develop your Financial Masterplan.

To do this, we’ll introduce you to the cashflow forecasting software we use and run through a couple of example scenarios.

If you wish to work with us then we’ll ask you to sign our paperwork.

  • Typically we then like to have a check in session with you where we’ll share a draft version of your Financial Masterplan. At this point you will have the opportunity to suggest any changes. Once the plan is agreed, we’ll agree on your risk profile moving forward.

  • We’ll then contact your existing investment/pension providers and conduct a thorough review and research the entire marketplace for the right solution for you.

We’ll then create the advice report and finalise your masterplan. Once complete, we’ll send these to you via our secure online client portal. We’ll also include a link to a personalised explainer video which guides you through the advice report and masterplan in plain English.

  • After you’ve had time to review the recommendations and watch the explainer video, we’ll have another meeting to chat through and we’ll answer any questions you may have.

Once you’re fully satisfied and give the go ahead, we’ll take care of everything and implement the recommendations. This is when we’ll ask you to pay the implementation fee. After the recommendations are implemented and any relevant funds are transferred, our ongoing service begins.

Fees

We believe fees for financial advice should be two things: simple and fair

The exact fee you’ll pay will depend on your circumstances and requirements, but the structure here provides a good idea of costs. There’s no charge for our introductory call and first meeting.

Deducted directly from your portfolio

Most clients pay for our services directly from their pension/investment portfolio.
